[vtkusers] vtkScalarbarActor on a Virtual Machine

Hi all,
 
I am experiencing troubles using a vtkScalarbarActor.
 
When i run the following example code on a CentOS 7 Virtual Machine, the 
Scalarbar does not appear. Its not throwing any errors, the ScalarBar is 
just not displayed.

However when I run the code on my Windows host it works perfectly fine. Any 
Ideas what the problem here might be and if so, any suggestions how to fix 
this?
