[vtkusers] The vtkSweptSurface patent has expired - is it/will it be available in vtk again?

Is a merge request something I can do?  (I'm not very familiar with vtk
processes....)

By the way - I'm ASSUMING the patent has expired since it was registered '95
or '96 and I beleiev patents have a 20 year life.
