[vtkusers] compile vtk5.10 release version

I am compiling the vtk5.10 release version, because I want to use the vtkMFC.dll. But I encounter this error:
error C2040: 'vtkCritSecType' : 'CRITICAL_SECTION' differs in levels of indirection from 'pthread_mutex_t' .
Could anyone help me to solve this problem? Thanks
