[vtkusers] unable to allocate memory error in vtkrenderwindow

Hi
I'm using vtkmarvhingcubes for rendering 512*512*600  voxels of size 4
bytes.
But I get an error "Unable to allocate ....... elements of size 4 bytes"
i have 8 Giga of memory and 5 free for rendering .
Can somebody give me a logical case and explain why is this happened?
