VTK should work (we test 3.2, 3.3, and 3.4 right now, but I don't see a
reason 3.5 shouldn't work either). I also don't know of any code which
is conditional based on the Python version.

One thing to note is that ParaView has *not* been updated to be Python3
compatible itself yet.
