[vtkusers] vtkCutter producing CellData from vtkStrucuturedGrid

Hi everybody,
just continuing the topic of my last post, I have successfully cut my
vtkStructuredGrid using  vtkCutter and obtained the celldata at the cut
plane as I needed. Sorry for bothering the members of this list.
Now I have another dout, could I have used vtkClipDataSet instead of
vtkCutter?
What is the difference in the output?
Is there is no difference, which option is the fastest?
