[vtkusers] images with different extents

Hi all,
Is there a way in VTK to deal with two images that have a different extent (but similar dimensions)?E.g extent1 = {-10, 501, -10, 501, -10, 501} and extent2 = {0, 511, 0, 511, 0, 511}.
