[vtkusers] Long-term support for previous VTK release

This is good to know. With Gitlab in place, everyone who can merge to
master should be able to merge to a VTK 6 branch once we create it. If
there are no objections to this, we should go ahead and make a branch for
VTK 6.2. Unless I hear a good reason why not, let's shoot for Monday.
