[vtkusers] File formats: Whats the difference between PVTK and VTM?

Hello all,

i know that it can be a stupid question, but I wonder about the implications
of use both formats (PVTK and VTM).

It's only a logical decision about how to order the different parts of a
mesh?

or has implications for the performance of the parallel IO?

Any help or comment will be appeciated. Thanks.
