[vtkusers] mirroring surfaces possible?

Hi

Is it possible to define/simulate a mirror or particular mirror in VTK over an kind of property of the triangle cells?

I want to simulate the infrared image of an 3d object whereby I want to give each triangle a reflectivity and then want to place some heat spots as light sources to get reflectations.... Is that possible in VTK or would anyone suggest another tool for that?
