[vtkusers] Structures Quad Mesh

Dear All,
Is there any example/sample codes in VTK related to building a structured quad meshfrom given 2D planar polygon? What I want to construe is, a structured quad mesh from arbitrarily given planar polygon. This is similiar to those quad meshes generated in FEM analysis where it is also possible to perform a adaptive refinement on mesh due to the loading etc..
