The best that I can found is this one, http://vtk.1045678.n5.nabble.com/Visual-C-forms-td1248419.htmlas opposed to the instructions given in the posts, there is no option in Cmake to set the variable VTK_USE_MFC = On.
Having the examples under source folder ...VTK-6.1.0\GUISupport\MFC makes me think that MFC is targeted in VTK but probably I didn't configured it properly.

Subject: [vtkusers] How to embed VTK rendering context into Windows Form
Hi All,
I was hoping to get VTK rendering window context to be embeded into Window Forms project.by slightly modifying following code snippets given at the official wiki page,http://www.vtk.org/Wiki/VTK/Examples/Cxx/Visualization/RenderPassExistingContextBut this example seems that it is not exactly the right choice.
I use Visual C++ 2010 express edition to create Windows Forms, all the other examples in Wiki which shows how VTK RC can be embeded in another window are in C# language.
Isn't there any example for C++?
I'll appreciated your guidance,
