[vtkusers] Simple Filter Example or Tutorial

I was wondering if anyone knows of any simple examples or tutorials for
writing c++ VTK Filters. I am finding it very difficult to understand the
VTK structure, and I thought a simple example or tutorial might help
greatly. 

Any direction or advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks.
