[vtkusers] Save vtkimage data in an image file

Hi everyone,
I would like to know if there is a way to save a vtkdtaimage made of pixel
infomations into a jpeg or a BMP file. I did not see any "Getoutput"
functions on the vtkimagedata class, and a vtkimage data cannot be an
attribute for the SetInputConnection function for an image writer class. So
my question is, is there another way to save a vtkimagedata into a image
file?
