[vtkusers] SetSize on vtkImageViewer2 assumes large margins top and bottom

Calling SetSize produces a view that almost fills the width (if the window
is more portrait than the view), but if the window is more landscape than
the view then the view is very much squashed vertically.  It seems the code
is assuming there should be a blank margin in the window top and bottom,
presumably to display text or whatever.

Please can someone tell me how to get rid of these large margins at top and
bottom (and preferably how to get rid of the margins at the sides too)?
