[vtkusers] Reduce color scales on DICOM

Hello, I have a dicom series who's values seems to be in the range of 0 and
7000 aprox. I need to scale down that range to be in 0 and 255. Does VTK
provides a tool or is something I can do when opening the file that will do
that for me, or should I do it by hand?
