[vtkusers] Cannot open Dicom images

I found a useful link for this problem:

Folowing this link, I am trying now to convert the DICOM images to raw
images and then reconstructing the volume.
I created the raw images with the names test-1.raw test-2.raw etc
But when i try to open them with vtkVolume16Reader it shows nothing - no
volume...
Any ideas?
