[vtkusers] vtkmultiblock leaf node names not saved...will it be addressed in 6.0?

Hi All,
I was attempting "name" blocks in my multiblock data set and found that leaf nodes don't get the name
applied.
Then I found this bug:
http://paraview.org/Bug/view.php?id=12994
Looks like it is still awaiting review since 5.8.0 vtk, possibly lost because it is listed as a paraview bug rather than VTK.
Can this be incorporated in VTK 6?
