[vtkusers] VtkImageData::Update Taking Longer in 5.10.1

We have an application linked/built against 5.10.1 and 5.7.0.
In 5.7.0 for a large volume (vtkImageData) the update method executes in
@5secs and takes @13 seconds (2x) with no other changes.
Any thoughts on changes to vtkImageData in 5.10.1 that would contribute to
such a difference.
