When I try to render an MRI volume  I got the following error 

assert("check: positive_low_bounds2" && lowBounds[2]>=0.0); 
At       vtkOpenGLGPUVolumeRayCastMapper.cxx(5908): 


The same application that fails with the MRI volume is successful in render
a CT volume. 

I use the vtkDICOMImageReader to read the images
