No. I tried making the same set of calls you mentioned on a widget in Rendering/Matplotlib/Testing/Cxx/TestIndexedLookupScalarBar.cxx and it didn't reproduce the issue for me (but I'm not using Windows). Can you provide a complete minimal example that causes the problem for you? Does running the indexed-lookup test on your Windows machine cause the same rendering issue?
