Yes,you are right.I am using C# and ActiViz.NET .
I have change it as follows.

button.LeftButtonPressEvt += new
vtkRenderWindowInteractor.vtkObjectEventHandler(button_LeftButtonPressEvt);

But it doesn't work either.
