[vtkusers] Subclassing classes in ActiViz

Is it possible to create my own vtkImplicitFunction in ActiViz?

I'm trying to simply create a subclass of vtkImplicitFunction and use that
as input to a vtkSampleFunction, but I'm getting an error message saying
"vtkSampleFunction (09C54CF0): No implicit function specified".
