[vtkusers] vtk PolyDATA and vtkUnstructuredGrid

Hello All,
I have 3D PolyData vtk object and I want to get their skeleton with
itkBinaryThinningImageFilter3D. But the filter doesn't supprt polyData.
However It works perfectly with STRUCTURED_POINTS.
What should I do? Is there a simple way to convert from PolyData to
STRUCTURED_POINTS. I am new to itk and vtk and I haven't a good idea about
such conversion.
