[vtkusers] local subdivision without new details

Hi every body,
i'm trying to do a local subdivision in my mesh. I wan't to pick on my mesh,
then i retrieve the cell where i picked and its cell neighbors in order to
apply  a loop subdivision.I have an pplication that allows me to see my mesh
in different levels of resolution... My problem is that when i apply a local
subdivision using loopsubdivision or butterfly or LinearSubdivision, i
didn't get a new details added to my mesh :( .... Any help please???
