[vtkusers] Multi Volume Rendering with VTK

Dear developers,

I am trying to do multi-volume rendering in VTK using the same mapper with
two separate vtkRenderers and render windows.

I saw in some posts in 2008 that this is not possible to reuse the same
mapper in two different render windows:

I would like to know if is there any solution regarding this issue in the
last releases of VTK or if this still a limitation.
