[vtkusers] vtkPolyDataWriter and vtkPolyDataReader problem with umlauts

Hi everyone

I use vtk 5.6.1 with JAVA-wrappings under Linux and Windows and I 
noticed that vtkPolyDataWriter and vtkPolyDataReader don't read and 
write files with umlauts (äöü) in the path name.
For me it was possible to avoid these path names but is there an other 
solution for this?
