[vtkusers] Help Display Slice of images on 3D ((vtkImageActor))

Yes you can. You would need to write your own "volume mapper". You can look
at the existing ones (
http://www.vtk.org/doc/nightly/html/classvtkVolumeMapper.html ) , duplicate
and change the code.
