[vtkusers] interactive drawing of lines/polygos

Hello,

I would like to know whether it is possible to draw/edit polylines/polygons
interactively(with mouse clicks and drags) without using vtkContourWidget
in VTK? Once the object is picked, the control points should get
highlighted, and using these control points one must be able to edit/modify
the object. I know that vtkContourWidget does exactly the same, but when
the number of objects keep growing up-to say 100 (with each object having
some 1000 - 10000 points/nodes), the speed-wise performance reduces. That's
why I wanted to know is there any other alternative to achieve this?
