[vtkusers] purpose of vtkMutableGraphHelper ?

Hi all,
what is purpose of vtkMutableGraphHelper ? (When to use it?)
I saw example
http://www.cmake.org/Wiki/VTK/Examples/Cxx/InfoVis/MutableGraphHelper of
usage, but vtkMutableUndirectedGraph  has method to RemoveEdge and AddEdge,
and lot of others, so I can't find reason to use it . At least from
documentation.
