[vtkusers] Ways to show x and y axes in VTK

Hello,

 

I want to show x and y axes in VTK. Both axes should display minor and
major ticks and labels at all major ticks.

 

Is there a chance to solve this problem with VTK v5.6 or 5.8?

 

1.)   The vtkAxes and vtkAxesActor do not have methods to define the
minor or major ticks. 

2.)   The vtkAxisActor2D doesn't work with zooming. It's fix in the
render window and does not move while zooming (absolute position). Is
there a chance to change this behavior?

3.)   The vtkChartXY draws the complete chart and I need only the axes.
