[vtkusers] vtkClipPolyData does not clip the points

Hi all,
 
I'm trying to clip a vtkPolydata with vtkClipPolyData. Therefore, it
seems this filter does not clip the points!
 
The input polydata gives me the following:
Number Of Points: 375003
Number Of Vertices: 375003

And the output polydata gives me:

Number Of Points: 375003
Number Of Vertices: 232195

Is there any way to clip the points too?
