The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR), United Kingdom, is seeking a 
highly motivated Software Engineer / Programmer to develop a 
user-friendly software package for treatment planning purposes in 
molecular radiotherapy. The development of patient-specific treatment 
planning systems is of increasing importance for personalised and 
evidence-based medicine for cancer treatment, and as such it is expected 
that products developed will lead to commercialisation and widespread 
distribution for clinical use.

The application has started being developed using the VTK package to 
fulfil the medical imaging requirements and C# using the .NET framework 
for the implementation of the user interface. The applicants will work 
closely with the other staff from the Institute of Cancer Research and 
Royal Marsden Hospitals and are expected to present their work at 
international scientific meetings.
