[vtkusers] Rendering multiple volumes

Hello @all

About this topic i found two posts in this Forum, one 2003 and another later
in 2007. Both of them were not successful with the question "How to render
multiple volumes in VTK" ? So lets try again in 2011:

I understand how difficult it could be, but is there already any solution
for it in VTK? For example when you got a PET and a CT from a person and
wants to render together, controlling their apperance (opacity, colormap,
etc) WITHOUT transforming them into a single volume.
