[vtkusers] 2D segmentation

All,
  I'm working on 2D liver segmentations. My goal is to let the user draw a
spline/circle on the 2D slice and then use a spline growing algorithm to
segment the liver from the image. It would be nice to see the "spline grow"
as the algorithm iterates and the final spline displayed along the edges of
the liver tissue. Can someone please point me to the right filters/classes?
  I know this requires interaction using ITK and VTK and am therefore
posting it to both the mailing lists.
