[vtkusers] vtkImageViewer2, vtkImageColorViewer and vtkImageViewer

good morning,

i tried that way and using a vtkImageQuantizeRGBToIndex to create a look up
table but it returns a blue -red image, that does not defines each correct
color for each pixel. i mean, it should show a rgb image, with a different
color and instead, it displays a image with a blue and red color, everything
undefined. (dont know if im explaining correctly. 

besides, i read that the best option is to use vtkImageColorViewer but for
this i need to use gdcm with vtk and when compiling itk, vtk and gdcm again
i have lots of trouble.  

another option i read is to use vtkImageviewer instead of the 2nd version,
but i guess i cannot do it properly coz i need some methods from the 2nd
version such as setRenderWindow or setInteractorStyle and i need an
vtkImageActor with it (vtkImageViewer2 has a vtkImageActor inside,
vtkImageViewer doesnt).

any ideas?
