[vtkusers] Remove bone for MIP mapping

Hi all,

I want to improve a MIP visualization tool that I wrote by removing the bony
tissue from the images I use to evaluate the Maximum Intensity values. I
thought a vtkImageThreshold filter to be enough, but if I try and use it I
obtain a poor image, perhaps thresholding is too "rough" for my purposes.
Have you got any bone removal technique to suggest?
