I use CMake 2.6.Where is the source code:I choosed the directory ReadPLY.Where to build the binaries:I choosed another empty directory bin,then choosed vc6.0 compilers.Now there is an error as the same:project files may be invalid.

Ok, on Windows you get a nice CMake GUI.

1) Open CMake
2) Select your CMakeLists.txt file
3) Select your build system to be VS 6.0
4) Click "Configure" a few times until "Generate" appears. Then click
"Generate".

This should have produced a .vcproj file (or .sln, or whatever VS
calls them) that you can open normally as if you had never used CMake.

Give this a try and let us know how it goes.
