[vtkusers] Replicate Cone Example using CMake

I've downloaded and installed vtk5.6.1 ( using CMake and VC++.Net Express (
Release Config) ).

I tested Slider2D.exe and it works.  
Was this  .exe  built on my machine or was the exe expanded directly from
the zip file?

 

Others have said " You really should use CMake.. "  as opposed to building
my own .h, .lib, and .dll  libraries and coding from scratch.  So suppose I
have the source code for visualizing a cone .  
How, using CMake,  do I use my own source code ?  
Is there a tutrorial ?
