[vtkusers] VTK offscreen rendering

hi there!

i have got the problem that when i want to start offscreenrendering i get a
segmentation fault.
i´m using the vtkPNGWriter and it works on my machine with ubuntu 11. But
when i try to do the same on my ubuntu 10.10 it fails.

my Preferences for VTK are:

VTK_OPENGL_HAS_OSMESA ON
OFFSCREENRENDERIN OFF
VTK_MANGLED_MESA OFF

any idea how to fix this? my ubuntu 10.10 has 64bit.. maybe thats the
problem?
