[vtkusers] vtkPolyData surface

Good afternoon,

I want to know if it is possible to extract some topological properties 
from a surface
built using a vtkPolydata?
In particular, i would like to know if the surface stored in the 
polydata has a boundary
in the topological sense, i mean, if the surface is closed or not.
