[vtkusers] Wikipedia misuse by VTK users

I've noticed that several research groups who use VTK are
breaking wikipedia's guidelines, specifically the guidelines against using
wikipedia to promote your own work, and against using wikipedia for
publishing your own research:

Would it be reasonable for people to put info about their VTK-based projects
on the VTK wiki instead?  If properly organized and indexed, such pages
could be a great benefit to VTK users and developers alike.
