[vtkusers] ray castion in a part of volume and voxel intensity on each ray

Dear
sorry for taking your time,
I can't appreciate you enogh if you help me,
I want to use vtk for ray casting a sphere part of  a volume, all ray in a
sphere must distributed uniformly and I want to measure the voxel intensity
in each ray.
can vtk help me in this content? Do you have any idea how I can implement
it?
