[vtkusers] texture only on 1 side

hi,

I create an image from pixel data like this:



and it works.. but now I have 2 questions:

1) I want the image only on one side of the plane not on both. The other
side should be black
2) How can I work with this texturedata? how can I put this into
vtkImageLuminance for example?
