[vtkusers] Run attempt Fails in VC++

In VC++ 2010 Express, whenever I click the green arrow with Release and Win32 set, Execution Fails.
But if I leave VC++ and go directly to the generated .exe file in the Project's Release folder, then the exe runs fine.
Has anyone executed from within VC++ ?
