[vtkusers] Qt & VTK Issues

I am having issues integrating the QtCreator 2.0.1, Qt4.7.0 and VTK5.6. Compiled and built all of them successfully. Dropped the QVTK plugin into designer's bin folder. I can see the QVTKWidget in QtDesigners list of widgets. Created a HelloWorld app and added INCLUDEPATH and LIBS in .pro file. But I get a ton of linking errors , like undefined references to vtkXXXXXXXX() methods. 
I could not find much on the web. Any help is welcome.
