[vtkusers] how to visualise 3d RGB image ?

Hi Vtk users,

I have a 3D RGB unsigned char raw data with the mhd file as header. I want to visualise the slice views of the color image.
I have checked the examples in itk and vtk and they only have for 2Dimages.
And have spent some time to figure out a way but not successful and at the end landed confused with all the methods.

It would be helpful if someone could explain me in steps to visualise the 3D RGB Raw data.
