Hello from a confused newbie,
I am presently developing some basic visualisation tools, using VTK.
For testing and ideas, I use ParaView 3.8.1 extensively.
My present problem is to get my VTK tool to render on screen with
similar quality to my testing case in ParaView.
Simply, I have a roughly cylindrical surface, which I have cut (sliced
in ParaView) with a number of planes to get curves that I then leave
to be drawn onto the surface. In my ParaView test case, the results
are great, but the results from my VTK code look terrible. All curve
lines rendered are broken, and appear dashed or dotted although they
are not. I have to the best of my knowledge in my code tried to mimic
the ParaView setup (which looks great).
Can anyone shed some light on my problem here, or point me in some
suitable direction? I have searched and browsed mailing lists and
tried different solutions to no avail, and neither book seems to give
me any leads.
Thank you,
Riku
