[vtkusers] Very slow on VirtualBox

Hi, developed an Qt-VTK app in a linux box, then I compiled on Windows
using MinGW on a VirtualBox machine.

While doing that, I noted three things:

1 - The app runs very slow.
2 - The app uses a lot of memory (260mb aprox.).
3 - The exe + dlls occupies 160mb

A little more about my app:

It uses QVtkWidget to show a Dicom Image. The image size on disk is
2.5mb, when it's loaded, the RAM occupied is 260mb.

I'm using Qt-Creator.

What can I do to decrease those numbers?
