[vtkusers] getting VTK 5.6.0 from git

Dear all,

I'm trying to get VTK 5.6.0 from the VTK git repositories (I'm not
even sure if I'm allowed to call them that...).

Much searching on the mailing list has led me to the following:
git clone git://vtk.org/VTK.git
git checkout -b mywork 0c237949

The CMakeLists.txt seems to think it belongs to VTK 5.6.0.  Is the
invocation above correct?
